Description: The NMDOT and law enforcement have CLOSED NM152 due to roadway damage from the resent flooding. The NMDOT will be clearing and repairing the roadway and will lift the closure once the road is deemed safe. This closure will remain in effect until conditions change throughout the week and in to the weekend.

Description: NMDOT wiht Sandoval construction have placed traffic control along N. Main with lane restrictions and reduction in speed throughout the work zone. Traffic has been switched to the eastbound lanes between N. Main and Gallagher Drive, and then split again from Gallagher to Madrid. Businesses are open, please contact them for hours of operation. Description: The NMDOT with El Terrero Construction has traffic reduced to one lane within the work zone for east and westbound traffic. The Mesquite on and off ramps are CLOSED. The Vado and eastbound ramps at Mesquite are OPEN traffic control is posted alerting motorists of split along the interstate. Description: The NMDOT with Villalobos Construction continue with bridge rehabilitation over I 25. Traffic will encounter lane, speed and width restrictions within the workzone. US 62 northbound and southbound at mile marker 35
Description: The NMDOT is doing bridge deck rehabilitation work on the Dark Canyon Bridge on US 62/180 at MP 35 in Carlsbad. Work will consist of milling and grinding the existing bridge deck and placement of a new concrete overlay on the decks. There will temporary lane closures and a 25 MPH speed llimit on the bridge during construction. There be one lane open to traffic in each direction with an 11-foot width restriction. Interstate 25 northbound and southbound from 1.2 miles West of CANONCITO exit at mile marker 293 to 0.1 miles West of CANONCITO exit at mile marker 294
Description: Santa Fe – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) began bridge replacement work on I-25 north of Santa Fe at Canoncito between mile markers 293 and 294 on April 7, 2014. The scope of the project includes bridge rehabilitation, roadway and ramp reconstruction, and pavement rehabilitation for 1.42 miles within Santa Fe County. Tom Griego is the NMDOT Project Engineer. AUI is the contractor for this project. Traffic Impacts: Starting May 21, the cross road under I-25 (Sleeping Dog Road) will be CLOSED. Local traffic and residents on the south side of I-25 will be detoured to the Valencia Exit 297 to access I-25 South. Local traffic and residents on the north side of I-25 (Old Las Vegas Highway) will be detoured to the Lamy Exit 290 to access I-25 northbound and southbound. The Sleeping Dog Road closure will be in effect until November 2014. -I-25 southbound traffic will be switched over to the northbound lanes. The northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane through the work zone. The lane closures will be in effect through June, 2014. -Motorists can expect minor delays. The posted speed limit is 55 mph through the work zone. There is a 12 foot width restriction in effect. NMDOT urges motorists to proceed through the work zone with caution, watch for construction personnel, observe traffic control signing and reduced speed to the posted speed limit.

Description: US 285 - Bridge Rehabilitation - Work is between Lamy and Clines Corners. NMDOT began bridge rehabilitation work on October 7, 2014. This work is cheduled to be3 completed by Ocotber 20, 2014. Motorists can expect one lane closures with a flagger operation guiding traffic. New Mexico 11 northbound and southbound from mile marker 4 to mile marker 28, left lane closed.
Description: NMDOT with Brasier Construction will be placing a Nova Chip along NM 11 from Columbus (mile marker 4.7) working northbound to Deming (mile marker 27.7). The contractor will start Wednesday September 3rd at mile marker 4.7 and work northbound in 4 mile increments to cover both north and southbound lanes. The contractor will repeat this process daily until the project is complete by Sunday September 28th. Working hours will be 7:00 am until 6:00 pm daily until the project is complete.

Description: The NMDOT and Mountain States Constructors have shifted traffic the north and southbound lanes where motorists will travel on the newly constructed bridge for north and southbound movement. Traffic will continue be restrict to 12.5 foot width restrictions between mile markers 88 to 92 as concrete wall barriers are placed. The contractor is currently removed the existing bridge which requires the northbound OFF ramp to be CLOSED at exit 92 due to reconstruction of the northbound lanes, please follow traffic control signage within the work zone. Project is scheduled to be complete by June 2015. Reduce speed and proceed with extreme caution as you travel through this area.

Description: I-25 - Santo Domingo - Santa FeThe New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues bridge rehabilitation work on I-25, mile maker 263 at Santo Domingo (bottom of La Bajada Hill) south of Santa Fe. Starting Saturday, October 18., the I-25 northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane. The reduced lanes will be in effect until Sunday, October 19, 2014. Motorists can expect minor delays. This bridge rehabilitation project is scheduled to be completed October 19, 2014; weather permitting. The Federal Highway Administration and NMDOT have partnered to fund the improvements. Interstate Highway Construction of Albuquerque is the contractor for this project. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution through the work zone, observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted limit. Description: The project consists of Roadway Rehabilitation, Processing, Placing and Compacting Existing Pavement, Shoulder Work and Permanent Signing. Construction will begin July 24, 2014. Interstate 40 at mile marker 187 Edgewood (EDGEWOOD)
Description: MoriartyThe New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin bridge rehabilitation work at the I-40 Edgewood Interchange (Exit 187) in Edgewood on Monday, October 6, 2014. The bridge improvement work will consist of removing and replacing the bridge approaches, new ITS system and miscellaneous median work. Starting Monday, October 6, motorists can expect minor delays. The I-40 eastbound and westbound lanes will be reduced to one lane at mile marker 187. The lane closures will remain in effect until November 2014. The Federal Highway Administration and NMDOT have partnered to fund the improvements. The project cost is $1,247,621and is scheduled for completion November of 2014; weather permitting. IHC Construction of Albuquerque is the contractor for this project.

New Mexico 41 from 1.6 miles South of Galisteo at mile marker 55 to 0.5 miles South of Galisteo at mile marker 56
Description: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) construction work on NM 41 near the Village of Galisteo between mile post 55.53 and mile post 56.1 on April 21, 2014. This work will include the replacement of two bridges and roadway improvements between the two bridges. The bridge work will be located at the San Cristobal Arroyo Bridge south of the Village of Galisteo and the Galisteo Creek Bridge on the southern edge of the Village of Galisteo. Traffic Impacts: Motorists can expect minor delays. During the daylight hours, the northbound and southbound traffic will travel through one lane with a pilot car operation and temporary signal setup. During the night, there will be a temporary signal set up on the north end and south end of the work zone. -NO oversize vehicles or commercial loads are allowed through the work zone, and NO oversize loads allowed between Stanley and South of County Road 42. There is a 10’ width restriction. -Motorists traveling south on NM 41 can use U.S. 285 south to Clines Corners to I-40. Motorists traveling north on NM 41 can use I-40 east to Clines Corners to U.S. 285 north. The detours are equivalent to approximately 21 miles. Drivers are urged to proceed through the work zone with caution, observe traffic control signs and obey speed limits.

US 285 from mile marker 248 to mile marker 250
Description: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) began work on the U.S. 285/ I-40 interchange at Clines Corners on September 2, 2014. This improvement work includes the lengthening and realignment of the westbound exit ramp, the realignment of the westbound entrance ramp, and the lengthening of the eastbound on and off ramps on I-40. The U.S. 285 bridge over I-40 will be widened 24 feet to accommodate two lanes of traffic each way. The work on U.S. 285 from mile marker 248.84 to mile marker 250.46 includes the reconstruction and widening of the existing lanes to accommodate two lanes of traffic each way. Other work on the project includes new drainage structures, new curb and gutter, new signing and the installation of an intelligent transportation system. Traffic Impacts: Motorists can expect minor delays due to a flagging operation on U.S. 285 at mile marker 249, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound lanes at Clines Corners. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution through the work zone, observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted limit.

Description: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin bridge rehabilitation work at the west interchange in Moriarty on Monday, October 6, 2014. On October 6, the bridge at the west interchange in Moriarty over I-40 at mile marker 194 will be CLOSED, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The I-40 Westbound off-ramp will be CLOSED from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the I-40 Westbound on-ramp will be CLOSED from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The closure of both ramps will remain in effect until 7:00 PM. Motorists are advised to use the NM 41 interchange (I-40 exit 196) to access I-40 and Main Street in Moriarty. The closure will be necessary to apply an epoxy overlay on the bridge and to paint the bridge barrier railing.
