| Description: | The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) has starting working on a cold milling and paving project on US 380 from MP 156 to MP 162 east and westbound. The $2.1 million project will prolong the life of the highway. All work is expected to be complete by the end of July 2013.
Single-lane closures with a pilot car can be expected during the duration of this project.A 12 foot WIDTH RESTRICTION is in effect through the work zone. Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Drivers are asked to watch for construction personnel working in the area, observe the temporary construction signing, and reduce speed to the posted speed limits.

| Description: | NM 419, ROADWORK between mile marker 0 to mile marker 47 (Trementina to Jct. of NM 39). NMDOT crews are working on fixing or replacing the six timber bridges that were in need of replacement. NMDOT has restricted the speed limit to 20 mph until all these bridges deficiencies are corrected these speed restrictions will remain in place. The listing of bridges with locations is as follows:

| Description: | US 84/285 - Pojoaque Interchange -between Espanola and Santa Fe- Contractor is AUI. NMDOT Project Assistant is Max Vigil.
Starting May 17 the southbound traffic on US 84/285 will be detoured onto the newly constructed west frontage road. There will continue to be lane closures on the northbound and southbound lanes between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
-The lane closures will be removed at the end of each workday, opening up two lanes of traffic in each direction. The posted speed limit during lane closures is 35 mph and 45 mph during non-working hours.
Motorists’ speed is being monitored by the New Mexico State Police.
NMDOT urges motorists to proceed through the work zone with caution, watch for traffic control signing and flaggers, and observe the reduced speed limit. |
