State-Wide Lane Closure Events

US 70 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 149 to mile marker 148 Las Cruces
Description: NMDOT with Sandoval Construction have placed traffic control along US 70 North Main with lane restrictions of 10 foot, and reduction in speed throughout the work zone. Traffic has been switched to the eastbound lanes between North Main and Gallagher Drive, and then split again from Gallagher to just north of Madrid. There will be NO through lane or left turn access on Madrid Street to US 70 North Main until further notice. The contractor has extended the concrete wall barrier in order to install utility lines. Businesses are open, please contact them for hours of operation. Motorists are encouraged to proceed with caution and expect delay. Please seek an alternate route due to work zone.

Interstate 25 northbound and southbound from mile marker 203 Meadow Lake (NM 6/LOS LUNAS) to mile marker 214
Description: Ongoing through Thursday 3/12 from 9 am to 5 pm northbound and from 7 am to 3 pm southbound (MWI Inc./TMC) I-25 both directions from NM 6 (Los Lunas) north to the Rio Grande River will have various single lane closures for utility installation.

New Mexico 6 westbound at mile marker 33
Description: Monday 2/16 through Monday 3/16 from 9 pm to 5 am each weekday (MWI Inc./TMC) NM 6 westbound from Camelot to I-25 (Los Lunas) will have the right lane closed for installation.

US 54 southbound at mile marker 114
Description: NMDOT will be performing pothole repairs on US 54 at mm 114.7 Southbound lane will be closed. Northbound lane will be open to traffic. Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH in this area. Motorists can expect delays and should reduce speed and obey all posted signs and traffic signal.

New Mexico 47 northbound at mile marker 41
Description: Ongoing through Friday 3/13 from 7 am to 6 pm each weekday (Qualcon) NM 47 northbound over I-25 at mile marker 41.6 (Broadway Interchange) will have various lane closures reducing traffic to one lane only during bridge maintenance.

Interstate 10 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 151 (MESQUITE) to mile marker 155 (VADO)
Description: The NMDOT with El Terrero Construction has the west and eastbound ramps at Mesquite open. The Vado west and eastbound on and off ramps are CLOSED. Motorists may access the Mesquite or Anthony exits and utilize the frontage roads. Traffic control is posted alerting motorists to reduce speed throughout the work zone as heavy equipment and workers are present. Proceed with caution.
