State-Wide Lane Closure Events

US 82 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 9 High Rolls to mile marker 11
Description: NMDOT Crew will be performing shoulder work on US 82 between mm 7 and mm 9 on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Motorists can expect a one lane closure with flaggers and a pilot car and some delay. Please reduce speed, obey all posted signage and watch for equipment and personnel in the area.

US 70 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 149 to mile marker 148 Las Cruces
Description: NMDOT with Sandoval Construction have placed traffic control along US 70 North Main with lane restrictions of 10 foot, and reduction in speed throughout the work zone. There is NO through lane or left turn access on Madrid Street to US 70 North Main until further notice. The contractor is installing utility lines at the intersection of Madrid and US 70/N. Main. Businesses are open, please contact them for hours of operation. Motorists are encouraged to proceed with caution and expect delay. Please seek an alternate route due to work zone.

US 54 southbound at mile marker 114
Description: NMDOT will be performing repairs on US 54 at mm 114.7 Southbound lane will be closed. Northbound lane will be open to traffic. Portable Traffic Lights are in place for traffic control. Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH in this area. Motorists can expect delays and should reduce speed and obey all posted signs and traffic signal.

New Mexico 254 northbound and southbound from mile marker 0 South Spring Acres to mile marker 4
Description: NMDOT Crew will be chip sealing NM 254 ( White Mill Road) beginning Monday, March 31, 2015 at 7:00 am until 5:30 pm Monday thrugh Friday until work is completed. One lane will be closed during the day with flaggers in place for traffic control. US 285 at mile marker 63
Description: NMDOT will be conducting guardrail repairs on US 285 between Mile marker 63 and 63.5 on the southbound lanes. Motorists can expect a one lane closure with minimal delay. Please obey all posted signs and watch for personnel and equipment in the area.

New Mexico 213 from mile marker 0 to mile marker 6, left lane closed.
Description: Flagging operations with traffic reduced to a single lane with pilot car assisting with moving traffic through the work zone. The NMDOT and contractor will be placing an overlay on the existing pavement which will be done from 7 am until 7 pm Monday through Friday. The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday of April 10. Updates will be posted as conditions change.
