| New Mexico 200 northbound and southbound from mile marker 3 to mile marker 8 | | Description: | The WIPP By-pass on NM 200 will be closed from MP 3.650 to MP 8.38 for roadway reconstruction. NO THROUGH TRAFFIC IS ALLOWED. An alternate detour has been established using the truck relief route on NM 524. Travelling public is urged to watch for construction detour signing, observe temporary construction signing and reduce speed to the posted speed limits. Washington Avenue will be closed between Paseo de Peralta and S. Federal Place. Pedestrians will still have access to Washington Avenue. Motorists can access businesses, the U.S. Postal Office, and Federal Government entities utilizing Grant Avenue and Marcy Street.
NMDOT, Federal Highways and the City of Santa Fe have partnered to fund the improvement work on Paseo de Peralta intersection with Washington Avenue/Bishops Lodge Road. Project Engineer on this project is Habib Abi-Khalil. The contractor is AUI.
